Excellent, chilling work! It's one of my go to Albums to use as Soundtrack for Horror Pen & Paper RPG's, or just as inspiration when I'm writting stuff!

WOW! Blood soaked horror at it's best! The perfect background for the e-book companion of the same name from muzzleland press (a collection of horror short stories in tribute to Hammer Horror!). With each note or horrifying sound, the music builds the suspense and the unseen terror that awaits in sanguine dripping visions! Mark Dickinson
This Parisian duo perfectly recall the best of slowcore, noise pop, and the brainier, more bummed out strains of 90s indie rock. Bandcamp New & Notable Jul 20, 2023
Founded upon ashes of a discontinued Mories project, Ophiuchus, Cloak of Altering began and continued as an exercise in blurring the seams between the organic and synthetic. This premise, combined with Mories’ insatiable fascination with Swans-esque noise, drone and his tight, exalted songwriting, resulted in a project that felt both extremely experimental and driven by emotion. There’s a sense of neurotic urgency to anything Mories does and the new CoA album is no exception. bartosso
